See Ya Later Alligator! FMS119

Today I am sharing my card for freshly made sketches. FMS out did themselves with this really fun sketch, and I’m so glad I waited for this sketch to show off this stamp set!
FMS Final 119-001

So I really love this card, but the color is off by a bit. For example, the card base is early espresso, no black… it looks like my old camera from 2004 is just isn’t cutting it anymore…oh well, its been a good long run. (btw, if any of you have camera suggestions, please do let me know! )

So, now that the disclaimer is out-of-the-way, here it tis…

Oh Happy BIRTHday and PPA188

Happy Wednesday!
Today I am sharing with you a birthday card I made with some of my new items in my last stampin up shipment, and for the PPA challenge! YEAH! This card features the Starburst Sayings bundle with the framelit dies… by the way, I LOVE bundles! They give you so many more options. Now, the original starburst saying says “oh happy day”… and I think you can leave it just like it is for a wonderful birthday card. I just wanted to add a little extra, so I used the stampin up markers to stamp the BIRTHDAY from a stamp in the “see ya later” set, a sale-a-bration stamp set. I like the results! I pulled the colors for this card from sale-a-brations sweet sorbet DSP. Using the DSP for color inspiration is easy and always comes out looking great!

Birthday Card made with Christmas DSP

Happy New Years Friends!

Today I’m posting the Birthday card I made for my grandfather. – happy birthday shout out Papa! –

So, when deciding what to do with this card, I was looking through my stack of DSP. Sad that Christmas had left, and thus all Christmas stamping products must go into hibernation, I really wanted to use the Season of Style DSP one last time.

And the results….

Mojo Monday 325

Hello again!
Ok, so I plan on only posting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, I really wanted to enter this card in the Mojo Monday challenge, so this post is early. Unless your new to card making or living under a rock, you know that Sale-a-bration is coming up at the end of January. As a demonstrator, I get all the goodies early (yay!). I have to admit, when I first got the DSP and the petal paradise set, I wasn’t sure about them. However, after playing around with it some, I really like the abstract modern look of the designs and coordinating colors.

This card reminds me a little of a Jersey girl or a pre-teen, but I really like it! Its also quite different from the other Mojo Monday entrees.
